Mohawk Fishtail Braid Tutorial

Fauxhawk and Fishtail braid tutorial

I recently saw this hairstyle in a magazine and love the edginess of it! I don’t wear my hair up very often so I thought it would be fun to change things up a bit. And it is super easy and can be done on tons of different lengths of hair. I actually think this would be tons cuter on someone with shorter hair, but I just couldn’t bring myself to whip out the scissors and chop it off just for this style.. So you are in luck ladies with cute little lobs!

As for how to do it.. 1. section the top part of your hair from temples to the crown of your head, basically where you would have a mohawk, and pin it up. Pull the rest of your hair into a ponytail. 2. Fishtail your ponytail and pull it apart so it looks undone and thick. 3. Unclip the rest of your hair and twist it back towards your ponytail and wrap it around the elastic. 4. Pin in place, pull at the mohawk a little so it has more volume, and get sassy because girl, you look fierce ;)
