Summer’s not over yet!! I will go to the beach even when their is snow on the ground so I’m not one to talk, but it is still HOT and I am going to hold on to summer for as long as I can! When we went last weekend I decided to take you along and do a cute little video as well! As you can see, Connecticut beaches are rocky (let me tell you how much it hurts your feet to walk on it….) and not very glamorous, but they still bring out all my mermaid senses..
When we came back I was looking at the pictures and Charlie said “wow your headband really looks like bunny ears”….. well thanks for telling me sooner Char!
PS guys, I guess I took the phrase dance like no one is watching to heart because the second Charlie turned around to get a skipping rock I started dancing for the camera…. I’ve got so much rhythm too….
Ice cream is probably one of my main food groups. Actually it’s anything that is extra sugary: cotton candy, donuts, cupcakes, ice cream. I love it all! I mean, it’s gotta add to the mouth full of fillings I have but in reality I think it was worth it. Sugar makes my heart happy :)
When I saw this adorable sweater I had to get it as an ode to my favorite food group. When we were in Florida a few weeks ago we stopped at Ben and Jerry’s and it was luckily nice enough outside to actually eat ice cream. I cannot even fathom eating anything cold right now in this Northeast weather…
I hope this post adds a little sweetness to your day :)
If you follow me on instagram, you know that Charlie and I went to Florida last weekend and it was absolutely amazing. It was 80 degrees and sunny everyday and seriously made me question why I live in the Northeast.. We came back to it being about ten degrees and snowing! UGH! But while we were there I took as many photos as possible because I couldn’t bear the thought of coming back and having to pose in this crazy weather! This is one of my favorite outfits from the weekend because it is so minimal but has a cool factor to it. And these flash tattoos. Can you get enough? I can’t! I am so obsessed and want it to be summer right now so I can show them off!
Capes are a staple of my fall and winter wardrobe. My mom would always wear capes when I was growing up and I never understood why but now that I have a few myself I total get it. They are so comfy and warm and look absolutely awesome! This knit poncho is especially perfect for these fall days where the sun warms you up during the day but there is still a chill in the air. And the fringe!!! So cute.
