SELFMADE SKIRT AND TOP (TUTORIAL BELOW) | JACKET | SUNNIES | SHOES
This past weekend we went jumping at SkyZone (which is so much fun but makes you unbelievably sore.. who knew that jumping is such a hard workout!) and I got called Elsa half a dozen times.. I guess a little girl even followed me around for a while because she was amazed by my hair! Since I dyed it a bit lighter it has been happening nonstop! It is so cute but I never know what to say!
I made this matching set a couple weeks ago and I knew it would be a while until I got to wear it.. But in a totally wishful thinking moment I made it anyway. And then I thought, why not wear it with a big coat?? It’s only my belly and I am only 22 once! So I decided this week would be a good time to show you guys how to make the skirt because I absolutely love how it turned out and it was so easy. You could make it in a really pretty Valentine’sy fabric and wear it on the 14th! And then to tie it all back together. When I had procrastinated taking pictures until yesterday it was in the middle of a snowstorm.. annnnd I really did feel like I was in Frozen! It was so magical outside and the snow was collecting in my braid and I was wearing blue and white. And so moral of the story is.. Maybe I am Elsa.
PS I hand wrote my tutorial this week. Let me know if you like it!
XO, k
