Happy Friday everyone! Another case of stealing Charlie’s shirt! Hahah – I can’t get enough of it.. I sometimes think of just getting clothes in a bigger size but this way we have the double wardrobe thing going :) I also want to say how much I always forget how good this braid is. I am always thinking how I need to come up with a new braid or something cool to do, but this classic is by far one of my faves.. And it is definitely one of those braids that looks soooo much better when you pull it apart. My hair is not as impressive without doing that (hence why I restate it 50 million times in all of my tutorials! The tutorial for it is so cringeworthy now so I can’t bring myself to rewatch it….)
It’s Thursday which means it’s the day before Friday which means yay! How was everyone’s Easter weekends? Charlie and I started a “tradition” a few years ago with my family where we always surprise each other with a visit – like my sister showed up on my birthday and knocked on our apartment door and of course I was flustered because who would be knocking at like 10pm but I got over that fast when I saw her cute little face through the peep hole! So we decided to surprise my family for Easter – I even dressed up in my pink bunny onesie with accompanying bunny ears and hopped into the house.. Pretty sure that was a sight for sore eyes…..
These jeans from Revice are for real like my second skin at the moment. They are the comfiest denim I have ever worn – think the perfect amount of stretch and a super smooth feeling. And I love how each of their pieces (including the shirt) have such a lived in vintage vibe. Good vibes only, am I right? ;)
Hey loves! Here are a few photos from my instagram – Charlie was away last week and I went to visit my family in New Hampshire so we haven’t had time to take tons of blog photos lately :/ Soooo I figured since I post so many photos on my insta I would share some of the outfits here too!
DRESS | SIMILAR SKINNY SCARF ^ LOVING chokers lately.. Until I expand my choker collection I have been tying ribbons and skinny scarves around my neck and turning the knot to the back. Works like a charm ;)
HAT | CHOKER: LITERALLY A WHITE RIBBON I TIED ON MY NECK | SHIRT/DRESS (this is my boyfriend’s shirt that I decided to wear as a dress… he is size large but h&m also have a ton of “long” tshirts that would work too!) | JACKET
I have been obsessed with thigh high boots all winter. ONE – because they make you look so stinking tall (could be the four inch heel.. jury is still out….) and TWO – you can justify wearing mini dresses and skirts in the winter because there will only be a sliver of your leg showing so the frostbite will only attack that part!
The other day I was wearing Charlie’s shirt because that is what I do (currently wearing his sweatpants – not sure why his clothes are for real ten times more comfy than my own..) and I decided it would be totally a cute dress (albeit short.. and on another note how do you even pronounce albeit. Shouldn’t it just be all be it?).
Okay, enough stream of consciousness rambling for today..
This scarf is so perfectly big and cozy when it’s cold outside but I just could not be bothered to go outside this weekend. Soooo I figured just ditch the clothes for these photos and just take them inside.
Although Nelly always wants to take the LONGEST walks when it’s the coldest out.. And I’m so bundled up that my own breath fogs up my sunglasses – not a cute look. I used to watch What Not to Wear all the time and they would watch the secret footage and be like EW that’s what she’s wearing to go to the grocery store?! Well that’s def what they would say about my dog walking outfit. It’s usually like the baggiest sweatpants and three layers of sweaters underneath my jacket (plus my scarf, hat, mittens, and boots..) I wanted to be on that show so bad even though I was like twelve so pretty sure they wouldn’t have picked me… I used to tell my mom we should just go get really horribly ugly clothes and then pretend they are our wardrobe. So basically my dream was to scam people into giving us a shopping spree………. Not sure I should have just admitted that…
